Baja California Hosts Emerging Baby Boomers Assembly in Rosarito

Baja California along with AMAR Retirement Communities Association is presenting an educational workshop for real estate development experts.

Rosarito City, Baja California, Mexico is happy to welcome the Emerging Baby Boomers Conference on Nov. 16-17, 2011. It will be hosted by the State of Baja California and AMAR Retirement Communities Association.

Rosarito Beach Hotel will be the venue for this two day assembly and it will address the impact of the baby boomer market. The assembly will also be highlighting how businesses and investors can reach this market and keep developing the senior living and care industry in the Baja California and Sea of Cortes areas.

Baja California provides economic stability, socio-cultural comfort and geographic appeal which fits the retirement needs of people fifty years old and older. There are about 100,000 retirees and expats who are living full or part time on the Sea of Cortes and the Baja Peninsula areas. The current estimate is that 35% of these retirees will require some form of assisted living care. The Emerging Baby Boomers Conference won't only showcase everything Baja provides for retirees, but will also present investors and developers with instant and long-term business opportunities that can be created in an expanding market.

"Our location is unparalleled with any other region in Mexico and is considered as the next big retirement and expat destination in the country," said Javier Govi, Founder & President of AMAR. "In fact, this region alone has the largest retirement population in Latin America. By 2020, the total number of retirees and expats is predicted to multiply to 250,000."

The set of guest speakers would be something people wouldn't miss listening to as they are proven competent and successful in their particular careers and professions. Guest speakers for the upcoming Emerging Baby Boomers Conference include Jeff Stevens, Director of Planning at Danielian Associates; David Truly, President of IRM Research; Chad Martin; Principal of Global Research; and Rick Jensen, President and CEO of Northstar Senior Living.
