Actor Sean Penn in Cabo San Lucas Mexico

Taking pleasure in the Mexican sun, Sean Penn was out in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico over the weekend (November 10).

The "Gangster Squad" actor was keeping it casual in a dark T-shirt, blue pants, and a short ponytail as he talked with close friends, including musician Cisco Adler.

Opening in January, "Gangster Squad" stars the 52-year-old artist as Mickey Cohen, the leader of an East Coast Mafia who is looking to extend his grasp to Los Angeles.

Rounding out the star-studded cast with Mr. Penn are Emma Stone, Ryan Gosling, Josh Brolin, Anthony Mackie, Giovanni Ribisi, and Nick Nolte.
